Effective October 29, 2026 · Rushbelle LLC, Naples, Florida
This notice explains how Rushbelle LLC handles personal information about California residents who use the Rushbelle app or visit our websites at app.rushbelle.com and legal.rushbelle.com. It supplements our App Privacy Policy and Website Privacy Policy, and is provided under the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA, Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 22575 et seq.), the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), and Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83.
Not at present. The CCPA applies to for-profit businesses that meet at least one of three thresholds: more than $25 million in annual gross revenue (as adjusted); buying, selling, or sharing the personal information of 100,000 or more California residents or households; or deriving 50% or more of annual revenue from selling or sharing California residents’ personal information. Rushbelle LLC currently meets none of these.
CalOPPA applies to any commercial website or online service that collects personal information from California residents, regardless of size, so it applies to us, and this notice satisfies it. We also honor the rights in Section 7 voluntarily. If Rushbelle later crosses a CCPA threshold, we will update this notice and those rights become legal obligations rather than voluntary ones.
Using the category names in Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.140, here is what Rushbelle collects. Full details are in the App Privacy Policy, Sections 1 to 5.
| Category | What that means at Rushbelle | Source |

| Personal information described in Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e) | Optional name and school, and an optional school email used only for a verified badge. | You |
| Characteristics of protected classifications | Your birth month and year, used only to confirm you are old enough for an account and for each social feature. It is never shown to anyone. | You |
| Commercial information | Whether you hold the Rushbelle Pro Season Pass or question packs, received from Apple through our purchase provider. Never your card number. | Apple, through our purchase provider |

| Inferences | Your match preferences (budget, GPA range, region, vibe), which you enter yourself to tailor what you see. We do not build profiles about you beyond what you enter. | You |
| Sensitive personal information | Your account log-in (email and password), and the contents of direct messages you send to other members, which we store so they can be delivered. | You |
We do not collect precise geolocation, government identifiers, financial account or card numbers, biometric information, or health information. Rushbelle does not use face detection or face recognition on any photo.
We use sensitive personal information only to provide the service you asked for (signing you in and delivering your messages) and as permitted by Cal. Code Regs. tit. 11, § 7027(m). We do not use it to infer characteristics about you, so the right to limit its use does not apply.
We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Our AI provider does not use what you send to train its models (App Privacy Policy, Section 3).
Only to service providers that run part of Rushbelle, each limited to what its part needs:
In the preceding twelve months we have not sold or shared personal information, and we have not disclosed it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16.
Our websites do not run advertising, analytics, or affiliate tracking scripts, and do not set cookies. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to download them, and Google receives your IP address under its own privacy policy. When you follow a link to another site, such as Instagram or a retailer in the app’s Shop, that site may collect information under its own policy. Rushbelle does not allow third parties to collect information about your activity across sites through our pages for advertising.
Our websites do not change their behavior in response to Do Not Track signals, because no industry standard for them has been adopted. Rushbelle does not track you across other websites or apps for advertising, whatever your Do Not Track setting. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a valid request to opt out of sale or sharing; because we do neither, there is nothing for it to switch off.
Email support@rushbelle.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request” and tell us which right you want to use.
Verification. We verify a request by confirming you can respond from the email address on your Rushbelle account. We may ask for one additional detail that matches your account if the request is broad. We will not ask for more than we need, and we will not use verification information for anything else.
Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent. We will ask the agent for written proof of your permission and may ask you to confirm it directly.
Timing. We confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days. If we need more time, we will tell you why and may extend by another 45 days. There is no charge unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, and we will explain before proceeding.
California residents may ask for a list of the personal information we disclosed to third parties for their own direct marketing in the preceding calendar year. Rushbelle does not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing. To ask anyway, email support@rushbelle.com with the subject line “Shine the Light.”
Rushbelle accounts are for people 16 and older, and the app is not directed to children under 13. Friends and messages are for members 17 and older; meetups and featured Bid Day photos are for members 18 and older. If you believe someone under 16 has an account, email support@rushbelle.com and we will delete it. Members under 18 can remove content they posted by deleting it in the app or emailing us (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 22581).
We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal information is removed from our servers as described in the App Privacy Policy, Section 10. Crash reports are kept by our crash-reporting provider for up to 90 days. Deleted information can remain in our encrypted weekly backups, which only Rushbelle can decrypt and which we use only to recover from an outage. Website server logs are kept by our host only as long as needed to operate and secure the sites.
We may update this notice; the effective date at the top always shows the current version. If you need it in an accessible format, email us and we will provide one.
